We here at Tinderbox.com love to travel and smoke cigars. So why not head down to the Dominican and hangout with the folks at La Aurora? I’ve always been quite partial to a La Aurora Preferidos (or two or three), so it seemed wise to go straight to the source.
A few weeks ago Paul, Abe and I (Brian Jr.) dropped by La Aurora to say hi to Jose Blanco, one of the master-minds behind La Aurora and a genius in the industry. After saying hi to Jose we trekked across Tamboril to see Jose’s cousin, Jochy Blanco.
Jochy is also a big name in the cigar industry. Not only does Jochy own his own factory, he also owns the land where much of the world’s finest tobacco is grown.
Flip through this gallery to see our visit with La Aurora and the beautiful landscape of Jochy Blanco’s factory.
