Under master blender Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s supervision, two ‘level 7’ master rollers craft La Gloria Cubana Reserva Figurados. They have a limited availability, since only 1,000 boxes of each size will be produced this year. The Reserva Figurados feature either a sun-grown Ecuadoran Sumatra or Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrappers, and are bound with aged Nicaraguan tobacco. The Dominican and Nicaraguan filler enhance the rich flavor of this cigar. For a minimum of three months, a special “cedar aging” process perfected by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo further contributes to it unique character.
