Super Sea Monkeys was designed and produced by Privada Cigar Club in partnership with Raul Lanuza, the Young Prince of Cigars, exclusively for La Sirena. This release marks the U.S. return of Lanuza’s debut blend, now refined, reintroduced, and elevated.
At its core is a wrapper seldom seen — an ultra-fermented Nicaraguan Cameroon Negro. Grown from authentic African Cameroon seed but cultivated in Nicaragua, this leaf defies traditional expectations of Cameroon. Through a revolutionary fermentation process pioneered by Lanuza himself, the wrapper is pushed beyond its customary elegance into full maduro territory — darker, richer, and layered with natural sweetness and depth.
The blend is anchored by a Condega binder, delivering balance and structure, while Peruvian and Estelí fillers add complexity, texture, and a refined finish. The result is a cigar that feels both expressive and controlled — bold without excess.
Expect nuanced flavors of stone fruit and caramel, supported by earthy undertones and a smooth, lingering finish that reflects both craftsmanship and restraint.
