Caminetto is one of the legendary names in Italian pipemaking — originally founded in 1968 by Peppino Ascorti, Luigi "Gigi" Radice, and Beppe Ascorti, and revived in the modern era by Tommaso "Tommi" Ascorti, Roberto Ascorti's son. Original Caminetto pipes from the 1968 era still trade among collectors at significant premiums; their influence on Italian artisan pipemaking is hard to overstate. Today's Caminetto is made in small quantities in the family workshop in Cucciago, Italy, carrying the third generation of Ascorti expertise into contemporary design. Each pipe is hand-carved from well-aged Mediterranean briar with the attention that defines serious Italian pipemaking. The move for the collector who values the Ascorti lineage.

I really enjoyed this cigar
I really enjoyed this cigar. I love flavorful cigars, and usually avoid anything that's described as peppery. I find this cigar, earthy, aromatic, smooth, and the flavor profile switches just a little, but in a good way throughout the burn. I had gotten a couple of these in a sampler pack and they hooked me, I had to order more.
