Ezra Zion Cigar Company was founded in 2013 by Kyle Hoover and Chris Kelly, the Texas duo behind the Cigar Federation community. They built the brand on small-batch, limited-production cigars with a storyteller's sensibility — memorable names, striking packaging, and blends built around rare, heavily-aged tobaccos, produced at respected factories in Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The result is one of the most original boutique catalogs in the country, with a devoted following that treats each new drop as an event. Ezra Zion's dessert-forward releases are the signature — Fortune Cookie, Funnel Cake, Cheesecake, and Vanilla Cola among them — alongside limited editions like Lucille and full-bodied showpieces such as Inception Reborn and Giant Slayer. In 2018 the company acquired Nomad Cigar Co., now released under the Nomad by Ezra Zion banner. Because production runs are small, most releases sell quickly.
