Dion Giolito founded Illusione in 2007 with a philosophy as distinctive as the brand's name — that the most interesting cigars are made by people who think independently and refuse to follow market conventions. All Illusione cigars are made in Nicaragua from the finest Estelí and Jalapa leaf, rolled at the TABSA factory, and produced in extremely small, controlled quantities. The ~HL~ series is the cult favorite: a medium-full Nicaraguan puro of remarkable elegance that builds slowly and rewards extended smoking. Garagiste is the most complex expression in the lineup. The cryptic naming convention is intentional — Illusione is a brand for smokers who prefer discovery to explanation.
