Aganorsa Leaf's Rare Leaf Corojo is a 100% Nicaraguan puro built around the grower's most elusive tobaccos — now under refreshed packaging that puts the blend front and center.
The line spotlights leaves that Aganorsa's farms produce in low yields — the kind of tobacco that usually shows up only in one-off limited releases. Rare Leaf turns them into a regular-production cigar. The wrapper is a Nicaraguan Corojo from Jalapa; underneath sits a double binder of Criollo '98 and a filler that pairs Criollo '98 with Corojo '99, all grown on Aganorsa's own farms and rolled at their factory in Nicaragua under master blender Arsenio Ramos.
The packaging has been updated — new bands, “COROJO” now printed on the box — but the blend is unchanged from the original Rare Leaf release.

Tasting Profile
An interplay of sweet and savory — nuttiness (almonds, roasted nuts), leather, cedar, mild floral or citrus hints, and a peppery backdrop that carries into the retrohale. Balanced and refined; approachable enough for a broad palate, complex enough to reward attention. The Corojo wrapper drives the spice; the Criollo binder and filler bring the sweetness.
Choose Your Size
- Robusto — 5¼ × 52: A classic modern format that keeps the smoke tight and the flavors concentrated. Best when time is short.
- Toro — 6 × 54: More length, more ring gauge, more time on the palate. Best when you can settle in.
Available at Tinder Box as a single or a 15-count wood box in either size.
