The Fuente y Padrón Legends: Carlos Fuente Jr. Honoring José O. Padrón is the cigar Carlito Fuente blended in honor of José Orlando Padrón (1926–2017), founder of Padrón Cigars and father of Jorge Padrón.
The project began in 2020, when Carlito Fuente and Jorge Padrón agreed, after a Cigar Rights of America meeting at the Padrón offices in Miami, that each would blend a cigar honoring the other's late father. Legends was first shown at the 2022 PCA Trade Show and reached retailers in 2024 in a 40-count humidor holding 20 cigars from each family. Both Arturo Fuente and Padrón allocated the humidors to select retailers, and net profits go to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation and the Padrón Family Foundation.
This cigar is a 7 × 50 Churchill made at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in the Dominican Republic and presented in a cedar sleeve. Its band joins the Fuente clock and the Padrón hammer, flanked by the signatures of Carlos A. Fuente Sr. and José O. Padrón. Arturo Fuente has not disclosed the blend.
