The Black Star Line Pack is a Tinder Box Haverford exclusive that showcases three signature expressions from Black Star Line Cigars — the boutique brand founded by Aric Bey, a Chicago firefighter turned cigar maker whose releases pair meaningful storytelling with genuine boutique craftsmanship. Each of these three cigars is rolled at a different factory in a different country, offering a rare cross-continental tour of one small brand's range in a single pack.
1. Black Star Line Marun
Black Star Line's fifth anniversary release — "Marun" means "five" in the Yoruba language. The brand's first collaboration with the renowned La Zona factory in Nicaragua, wrapped in Ecuadorian Sumatra over Nicaraguan binder and filler. Medium to full-bodied with a rich tapestry of leather, baking spices, brown sugar, citrus, and earthiness. Consistent burn, smooth draw, and a milestone release for the brand.
2. Black Star Line El Milagro Habano (Corona Gorda, 6 × 46)
A true Nicaraguan puro handcrafted at El Titan de Bronze in Miami, one of the last remaining artisanal boutique rolleries in the U.S. A rich Nicaraguan Sun Grown Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, triple-capped and rolled by master torcedores. Medium-to-full bodied with black pepper, cedar, earth, roasted nuts, and a hint of leather. Bold but accessible — a standout in the El Milagro line.
3. Black Star Line Mr. Fahrenheit
A medium-to-full-bodied tribute to founder Aric Bey's twin passions — his service as a Chicago firefighter and his lifelong admiration for Queen (the name comes from the "Mr. Fahrenheit" lyric in "Don't Stop Me Now"). Crafted at Tabacalera La iSLA in the Dominican Republic, wrapped in rugged Connecticut Broadleaf over Dominican binder and Dominican-Nicaraguan filler. A distinctive shaggy foot lets the binder and filler come through first before the wrapper joins the mix — a dynamic, evolving smoke. A portion of proceeds supports Ignite the Spirit, aiding families of firefighters.
