Smoked Turkey Leg started life as a full Ezra Zion release — the planned sibling to the Fried Turkey releases that Kyle and Chris have made a fan favorite over the last several Thanksgivings. The problem was supply: when Kyle and Chris went to secure the aged leaf they wanted for the blend, there was only enough tobacco in the warehouse for 455 cigars. Full release plans got shelved. What got rolled instead is one of the smallest micro-batches Ezra Zion has released this year — a 6 x 52 classic toro built around a luscious Criollo 98 Rosado wrapper, every leaf in the blend aged between four and twelve years, with the binder and filler closely guarded.
