The Last Laugh was originally scheduled to be a full Ezra Zion release. But Ezra only had enough of the specific tobaccos to make a micro-batch of 415 cigars total. What was supposed to be a lineup drop became one of the smallest releases Ezra has ever put out — and one of the most anticipated among their followers.
The Last Laugh is a 6.5 × 46 short churchill, full-bodied with medium/full strength. The wrapper is a gorgeous, chocolatey 12-year-aged Broadleaf Maduro leaf. Binder and filler blends stay proprietary — as Ezra puts it, every good trick needs a mystery. Every tobacco in the recipe is aged between 6 and 12 years.

Tasting Journey
First Third: Ultra-dark chocolate leads out of the gate, joined by raw cane sugar, heavy whipping cream, Almond Roca, and brown sugar. Black pepper and cedarwood balance the sweetness with structure.
Second Third: The profile shifts into dessert-and-cocktail territory — caramel, espresso beans, chocolate chips, cinnamon stick, and bourbon whiskey. White pepper, clove, and custard round out the mid-cigar transition.
Final Third: Chocolate porter, marshmallow, toffee, and smooth dark chocolate dominate the finish, with vanilla bean, rum barrel, nutmeg, toasted almond, and buttercream frosting layering underneath. Complexity builds all the way to the nub.
Ezra's take: one of the most incredible cigars you will ever smoke. With only 415 sticks in existence worldwide, once these are gone, they're gone.
