After working at Mastro de Paja for approximately 10 years Giancarlo Guidi decided to go out on his own and opened Ser Jacopo pipes in 1981. Giancarlo chose the name Ser Jacopo after a well admired Italian Nobleman.
After Giancarlo's death in 2012, Maurizio Fraternale (Giancarlo's business partner since 2010) continues to produce Ser jacopo pipes
Although many of the Ser Jacobo pipes are in a classic shape, they all have unique details that set them apart.
