Peterson Tyrone Fishtail - 69 is a classic bent Billiard in the Irish marque's revived Tyrone series — a dark, smoky Heritage smooth finish, twin brass bands, and a tapered black acrylic fishtail stem at an accessible Peterson price point.
Named for County Tyrone in Northern Ireland — the historical region called Tír Eoghan, “Land of Eoghan” in Irish — the Tyrone series was first released in the early 1990s, discontinued in the early 2000s, and resurrected by Peterson in 2021 with modern appointments. The current line keeps the smooth finish and trim brass accents of the original, but trades the earlier walnut stain for Peterson's dark Heritage finish. Part of Peterson's Classic range: non-System pipes crafted for the everyday smoker, built with the marque's house craftsmanship at a price any pipe smoker can enjoy.
Offered here in the sleek “69” bent Billiard model — one of Peterson's most traditional English shapes, forgoing the prominent transition and heavy shank of their stylised variants for a more slender, angular profile. A lightweight classic, well-suited to hands-free smoking.
