The Plasencia Alma del Cielo is the first high-elevation puro from the Plasencia family, cultivated at Finca San Julián more than 3,500 feet above sea level in Nicaragua's Condega region — where cool nights, hard sunlight, and mountain spring water produce a terroir unlike anything grown in the valleys below.
What Altitude Does to a Leaf
At that elevation the plant grows slower and the nights run cold. The leaf comes off thicker and more concentrated, carrying a tension in the flavor that lowland tobacco doesn't have. Finca San Julián is the most cherished property the family owns.
