Newsboys started with a question: how far can you push the newspaper-wrap cigar concept before it stops being fun? Privada's answer was to elevate every detail — every cigar individually numbered for collectors, packaging upgraded with vintage Privada imagery, security hologram, and the classic Privada Cigar Club band. The newspaper wrap stays. Everything around it got sharper.
But the blend had to earn the presentation. The centerpiece is a dark, oily hybrid Connecticut Broadleaf — grown in Estelí, Nicaragua rather than the Connecticut River Valley. Same varietal structure as classic Broadleaf, but built on Nicaraguan soil for muscle and depth the traditional version can't touch. Underneath, a Jalapa binder and well-fermented Estelí fillers round out the blend.
