An aged 6 x 50 built with Guillermo Peña to taste like fall — not from flavoring, but from the leaves themselves.
Privada Cigar Club's Pumpkin Spice is a collaboration with Guillermo Peña aimed at one of autumn's most familiar rituals: the pumpkin spice latte. The challenge was to put those flavors in a premium cigar without reaching for infusion or flavored tobacco. The answer was a Jalapa Maduro wrapper, a San Andrés binder, and a Nicaraguan-Dominican filler blend, aged until the natural chemistry of the leaves started pulling cocoa, baking spice, roasted nuts, creamy coffee, and a touch of vanilla out of the smoke. Light one next to the latte and the whole concept clicks.

The burn opens on baking spices and milk-chocolate sweetness, picks up roasted nuts and a creamy coffee through the middle, and finishes with a soft vanilla note that lingers. Full-bodied, but balanced — the aging keeps the Jalapa wrapper from overwhelming the softer flavors underneath.

Pairing Notes
Built for the fall rotation and the drinks that go with it: a pumpkin spice latte, a bourbon-cream cold brew, an oatmeal stout, or a slice of spiced pecan pie. Any of them will pull the cigar's cocoa and vanilla forward.
Why This One Matters
Privada's seasonal releases are small-batch and allocation-only, and the Peña collaboration gives this one more structural interest than most limited blends — the Jalapa Maduro wrapper and San Andrés binder are a serious platform under what sounds, on first read, like a novelty. It isn't. Aged, deliberate, and genuinely built to drink alongside the season's coffee drinks.
