Stolen Throne Highway Drifter is the brand's second limited edition of 2026 and its first release ever with a shaggy foot. A 6 × 52 toro with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan tobaccos, capped at 10,000 cigars total.
Co-founder Lee Marsh built Highway Drifter around a specific idea: he wanted the flavor transition from filler to binder to wrapper to be as vivid as possible, using aged filler tobacco to push the shift. The shaggy foot — a small pigtail of loose filler leaves left exposed at the foot of the cigar — is what makes the transition sing. It ignites the filler first, cleanly, with no wrapper contribution at all. The first few minutes of the smoke are pure filler; the wrapper doesn't join the conversation until you've burned back into the cap.
Marsh told halfwheel at the 2026 PCA Trade Show that the cigar was named after — and inspired by — outlaws, people and brands that do things their own way. Fitting, considering the Highway Drifter is the first cigar in the Stolen Throne portfolio to try this shaggy-foot construction, and only 1,000 bundles are being made.

Tasting Profile
Highway Drifter is built to change as it burns. The shaggy foot delivers a pure hit of aged Nicaraguan filler on the first quarter — dry, earthy, more restraint than punch. When the wrapper enters at the second quarter, Ecuadorian Habano spice and sweet cedar layer in, and the middle brings roasted nuts, black pepper and a subtle caramelized-sugar note. The finish carries deeper wood and a lingering spiced-tobacco warmth. Medium-Full throughout.
What's a Shaggy Foot?
A shaggy foot is a small bunch of loose filler tobacco left exposed at the base of the cigar. When you light it, the filler burns first without any wrapper covering — you get a few minutes of pure filler flavor before the wrapper joins in. It's not a common construction (it makes the light a bit trickier), but it's an effective way to showcase the filler when it's worth showcasing.
