Viaje Birthday Blend 2026 is the latest entry in one of Viaje's most celebrated annual traditions — a release that began in 2016 to mark the birthday of founder André Farkas and has become one of the most anticipated cigars on the Viaje calendar.
Birthday Blend is an annual release. The format and blend evolve year to year — most years it's been a 6 × 52 torpedo, though the 2024 edition stepped up to a 6 ¼ × 54 torpedo. As is tradition with the line, each box of Birthday Blend 2026 includes one cigar wrapped in gold foil for good luck. The gold-foil cigar uses a different blend than the rest of the box — Viaje has never disclosed what makes it different, and that's part of the appeal.
