Platino has run alongside Oro as one of Viaje's two core lines since the brand's earliest days. When the company detailed the blend in 2011, it was a Nicaraguan puro under a Corojo 99 wrapper with added aged ligero — the same construction philosophy that has kept the line in rotation for smokers who came to Viaje for exactly this.
Like its sibling, Platino Reserva is most familiar as a 5¾ × 52 double torpedo. This release brings it into a perfecto — a shape the non-Reserva Platino wore back in 2020, but one the Reserva blend has rarely been given. It ships in 50-count cabinets.
